Be A Hero NightEvery community needs a hero and recently Heart of Kentucky United Way celebrated with some of ours at our annual Leadership Kickoff event.  It was a time to say thank you to those who are working hard to make a difference in our community and to introduce them to another superhero.  Townsend Walter was in attendance as the Hulk.  Townsend has been in a program at Wilderness Trace Child Development Center that is supported by Heart of Kentucky United Way.  He has made great strides from a child that was unable to communicate and shy into our featured superhero talking with everyone and getting in a bunch of pictures with all in attendance.  If you want to know how you can become a super hero in our community, contact our office at 238-6986 or email Brian Shannon for more information.
